Even the name sparks curiosity. It reveals our deep connection to the written heritage and history of the region where we are located. The hotel’s name is written in Bosančica, or Croatian Cyrillic, and means “home” – a place where we feel our best and most at ease. This script was once used in private correspondence by Croatian nobles and, alongside Glagolitic and Latin scripts, represents one of the historical Croatian alphabets that appeared on monuments and charters as early as the 12th century. It was passed down from parents to children, from generation to generation. And it was not only the script that was inherited. Along with it, we received the values that shaped us and that we have brought into our hotel: respect for nature, dedication to hard work, and a sense of community.
